Hi Zoe..similar bad situation happened to me ..and they are not even paying..
My last invoiced placement one week in Cornwall remains owed to me ==NOT BEEN PAID !! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND UBFAIR .
JUST BECAUSE LACKED CONFIDENCE TO MANOEVRE/manual handling a quite wobble wheelchair bound client and despite agency said wife hands on, during the encounter turned out the wife doesmt want at all to be involved.The safeguarding of my clean flawless DBS is my priority regardless how painful it was to have a u-turn.in addition the wife admitted that this withdrawal did not happen the 1st time: but they had it before one was Margaret who.walked out after 48hrs and meanwhile possibly lost her clean DBS. Because once accepted and remain ob our own with the vulnerable person we are not allowed to leave until the next handover.
